Like any project I take on, I often use the SPIN model to clarify that I am solving the correct issues. Often, it is far easier to jump into solutions for problems that do not exist. Or they exist, but do not want to be resolved.

The mindset required to optimizing websites for large part count or SKU count businesses is different then for small boutique firms. The focus is more on managing data, rather then tweaking for the item. The value is in the overall solutions provided to customers.
